How this cleaning quote is calculated

Room minutes = bedrooms×20 + full baths×30 + half baths×15 + kitchens×40 + other×20.
Cleaning minutes = (setup + room minutes) × service multiplier. Add-ons are added after that.
Labor hours = (cleaning + add-on minutes) ÷ 60. Crew size shortens time on site but does not cut total labor hours.
Job cost = labor×(1+burden) + paid drive time for the crew + supplies×hours + miles×$/mile.
Full price = (job cost + fixed card fee) ÷ (1 − overhead% − profit% − card%). Then apply the frequency discount, enforce the minimum, and round up.

Questions

How should I price a house cleaning job?

Start from how long the job takes (rooms × your minutes, times a deep or move-out multiplier), add drive time and supplies, then set a price that covers labor burden, card fees, overhead and your target profit. This tool does that math and rounds up to a clean price.

What is a service multiplier?

Your room minutes are for a standard clean. A deep clean or empty-home move-in/out takes longer; multipliers (defaults 1.6× and 1.8×) scale the room+setup minutes. Add-ons like inside the oven are added after the multiplier.

Should recurring clients get a discount?

Many cleaners discount weekly or biweekly work because travel is amortized and the home stays easier. The discount comes out of profit, so check the margin after discount before promising a rate.

Is this the same as the paid workbook?

Same core quote math. The free tool is one quote at a time in your browser. The paid workbook adds editable time standards, a quote log, job tracking and a monthly dashboard.
